The Prophet Muhammad said, “There is a tree among the trees which is similar to a Muslim (in goodness), and that is the date palm tree” (Al-Bukhari).
The Apostle of Allah used to eat melon with fresh dates, and he used to say: The heat of the one is broken by the coolness of the other, and the coolness of the one by the heat of the other. (Abu Dawud)
'Abdullah bin Mas'oud narrated that God's Messenger saws said: "Drink cow milk, for cows graze on every kind of plant." (Sunan Abu Dawud)
Allah's Messenger saws said, "Eat olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it comes from a blessed tree." Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah
